Having come from an industry that utilized wall mount Plasma TV Frame products around flat panel televisions, the designers at HD Envy™ already knew that there was no commercially available mounting system. The two current methods for mounting a frame for flat screen TV involved either attaching the frame to the TV with straps and buckles and the other required mounting the frame directly to the wall. These methods illustrate the lack of thought given to the mounting method.

The Strap and Buckle method is obvious and simple. It holds the TV wall frame to your TV the same way a belt holds your trousers to your body. It allows for a simple method of attachment, but offers no security and no confidence in a public environment and provides absolutely no precision in regard to how the TV picture frame is oriented to the TV. This usually requires the use of shims or other similar methods to properly frame the viewing area of the TV within the TV frame.

The Direct to Wall method offers a much higher level of security and precision, but simplicity is lost and the cost goes up as this method requires construction skills that most do not have, requiring the use of professional installers.

The high cost of LCDs and Plasmas kept LCD and plasma TV frame demands low, so there never was an economic reason to develop a product that would work better and easier than the current methods.

After the drop in cost for LCDs and Plasmas that all changed. Millions of flat panel televisions are making their way into homes and businesses around the world. With millions of TVs being wall mounted there is an increased demand for a simple and cost effective method of mounting a flat panel tv frame to a wall mounted TV. Arriving at the right moment is the FastenEZ™ mounting system. This Patent Pending system utilizes a rigid stamped steel bracket that allows the attachment of a LCD or plasma TV frame or other accessory to a wall mounted flat panel television with precision. It also provides a level of security/theft prevention with it's built in locking latch. This level of security is impossible with the Strap and Buckle method.

The most common method used to wall mount flat panel televisions follow the guidelines set forth by VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association). Most wall mount manufacturers follow these guidelines to be "VESA Compliant." The FastenEZ™ Mounting System works in tandem with all VESA Compliant mounts. Additionally, because of the FastenEZ™ design, it also works equally well with all but the most proprietary of mounts.

With the FastenEZ™ bracket securely attached to your TV, a flat panel TV frame would snap onto the bracket and completely lock the frame in place in seconds. The FastenEZ™ system also ensures that the flat TV frame is oriented properly with regard to its placement on the TV. The Direct to Wall method offers security and precision but with added cost and difficulty. In addition, with the FastenEZ™ system installed removing a TV frame is as easy as it is to install. This guarantees that servicing your TV or accessing your TV is not only possible but simple to accomplish. With the Direct to Wall method, removing your TV wall frame is as costly as it is to attach and then subsequently, re-attach.
